- Deforestation. Carbon dioxide is released from dead organisms such as trees. Example: As of 2021, 15 billion trees are lost to deforestation.
Solutions:
- Instead of taking your car to work or school, carpool with a friend. Riding your bike and taking the bus are also good solutions that help minimize carbon dioxide releases.
- In spare your time, grab a couple of friends and plant some trees! Even planting just a few trees is a great start to help the planet.
