What is algebra and why is it necessary?

Algebra teaches you to follow tne logical path of solve the problem. This, in right, allows us to have the better understanding to how numbers function or work together in an equation. By having a good understanding of the numbers, you will be better able to do eassy or hard type of maths.

(f∘g)(4) is other way of writing f(g(4)).

First, find g(4).

g(x) = 2x − 3

g(4) = 2(4) − 3

g(4) = 5

Now substitute into f(x).

f(x) = 4x − 7

f(g(4)) = 4g(4) − 7

f(g(4)) = 4(5) − 7

f(g(4)) = 13
