A little girl was tricker treating and she was walking in the street and she gets kidnapped and the guys just take the candy but leaves the girl in a shed behind her grandparent's house and the grandparents didn't know, and they didn't like their neighbor so they set the shed on fire but the neighbors got into the shed to get some pictures and end up saving the girl!!

It would be a show and every season would be 100 or so years after the last (I don’t know what time period it would start in). The only character consistent between seasons would be an immortal who isn’t necessarily a main character but is involved in every season. The immortal Character would develop slowly as different characters and the adventures of those characters in different time periods would have effects on him. I haven’t really seen anything like it but it sounds cool.
