I disagree because someone can still shatter your dreams even though they don't know it. For example when I was 9 I wanted to be a chef I did not tell my parents my school and my friends and somehow they knew that I wanted to be a chef so now I chose to be a doctor.  My parents would hit me everytime I would watch something related to cooking.
