Whole numbers start from zero and include every single positive number that doesn't involve fractions or decimals. Integers add onto this set of numbers, as they include negatives but otherwise share the same rules.
Whole numbers are 0, 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9…
Positive integers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9…
The difference is that whole numbers have 0 included and positive integers do not have a 0 included
