With no gravity everything wil float. So yeah sure, for a while it will be a lot of fun. You could float around everywhere or cry to see your tears float in the air. But after a while it would be harder to do things that could be easily done with gravity. For example going to the bathroom would be kinda hard. And what about eating. Food would be flying everywhere, it'd be like a food fight but slower and messier. Those are only some of the reasons the author disagrees with the statement.
