This is why after wining the war, Germany was forced to pay for the expense that the Allies need to spend during the war. This decision brought Germany into a deep economic depression for decades. Hitler used this desperate situation  as a means to obtain support from Germany's citizens and start the world war II.

Answer:

Even though they considered different types and ways of punishment, all they wanted germany to be punished for the destruction caused during the war.

Explanation:

First of all, the UK didn't agree with the 14 points o President Wilson. Then, only the UK and President Wilson believed germany needed to rebuild its economy, france didn't want them to recover, they actually wanted to charge them the expenses of the war and to divide them. Furthermore, the president of France wanted to crippled them and make them pay at all costs, even if he had to use all his influence in all kind of treaties, this includes secret agreements with other countries.  The only thing they had in common was that all them believed Germany was the guilty of the destruction caused in the war.
