My solution to the problem is as follows:

Given:

Width = 3.2 cm; Length = 17.1 cm; and Height = 5.8 cm.
Mass = 1.4 kg

Asked: Density = mass/volume

Solution:

Volume of a prism = L * W * H = 3.2cm x 17.1 cm x 5.8 cm = 60.52 cm^3

Mass = 1.4 kg

Density = Mass/Volume =  1.4 kg / 60.52 cm^3 = 0.023 kg/cm^3

Therefore, the density for the block of metal is 0.023 kg/cm^3.

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
