When the north pole is tilted towards the sun,it experiences continuous day light for six months. It is night for the same period in south pole. Conditions reversed when south pole is tilted towards the sun. That is because the Earth's axis is tilted relative to an imaginary line perpendicular to Earth's orbital plane.
