These clouds form precipitates in the forn of rain, or snow. This way water again becomes part of the earth surface. If the vegetation cover is reduced in a region it directly affects the water cycle.

Carbon cycle is also regulated by plants. The plants absorb the atmospheric carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas which is a capable of raising the global temperature causing global warming. Hence, the abundance of plants and vegetation cover will reduce the effects of global warming.
