Once settled the colonists:

a. Went their separate ways and divided up by their religious beliefs

b. Banished those that had pagan beliefs or that practiced witchcraft

c. would “covenant and combine our selves together into a civil body politick.” As part of this united body, they pledged to make and abide by the same “laws, ordinances, Acts, constitutions, and offices” in order to further “the general good of the Colony: unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.”

d. Suffered a fierce winter and attempted to sail back to England in the Spring
