Organisms could immigrate into an area because there may be more food or a better environment. There might have been something in the past habitat like a natural event like a flood that causes organisms to immigrate to a new habitat.
The two possible reasons individuals may immigrate into an area are :
- For Food and shelter
- Natural disaster

Individuals of a population migrate from one place to another in search of food and better living conditions. Also individuals might migrate for more pressing such as a natural or artificial disaster occurring and destroying in their previous habitat.
