The products when Zinc metal reacts with Hcl( Hydrogen chloride ) is hydrogen gas and zinc chloride ZnCl₂ with the evolution of heat.

The reaction of Zn metal and hydrochloric acid is as follows

Zn + HCl → ZnCl2 + H2.

This is called a single replacement reaction where  the  metal, zinc  reacts readily with hydrochloric acid,to displace the hydrogen to form  zinc chloride, which is a salt and bubbles of hydrogen gas.

The reaction has a negative enthalpy due to the heat produced.
