Ms. Ramos can buy 5 pens from her local shop for $2.75. She can buy 10 of the same pens on the Internet for $5.25. Ms. Ramos wants to buy 20 pens. How much will she save if she buys the pens on the Internet?

Ms. Ramos would be saving $0.50. If you multiply 2.75 times 4 which would be the amount it would cost from the store, you get $11. If you multiply 5.25 times 2 which would be how much it costs on the internet you get 10.50. So therefore she saves $0.50.
