Question

Hi!! This may sound really silly, but I am confused about resistors and currents. I am wondering how the current can have the same value at any point in a single closed loop if there are resistors in the loop? Surely the resistor would slow the current down at that point in the circuit??

Yes. True. Resistors slow the current down at the point in the circuit.
