The Call of the Wild, written by Jack London and published in 1903 is the story of a dog, Buck, who must face the consequences of man´s greed and whose life gets changed when he is taken away from his quite and peaceful life in California. Being taken to the wilderness of Canada, faced with mistreatment, overwork and injustice, Buck ends becoming a wild animal who belongs with wolves inside the deep forests of Canada.
