A function is represented by the graph. (IN PHOTO)


The y-intercept of the function​ ​ y=3x+2y=3x+2 ​ ​​is(Greater than, Less than, Or Equal to.) the y-intercept of the function represented in the graph.
Please tell me which answer is correct in the parenthesis.

I think it maybe greater than becuase i looked at the y intercept and it was a two ok so then i looked for a slope of 3x but in the picture the slope is only 2x.

In y = mx + b form, the y intercept is in the b position.
y = mx + b
y = 3x + 2......so ur y intercept (b) = 2

the y intercept of the graph is where the line crosses the y axis...and that is 2

So the y intercept of the function and the y intercept of the graph are EQUAL
