Use the horizontal axis (x-axis) for the # of extra pages, and the vertical axis (y-axis) for the # of photos she can add
Then put these points in the graph.

The graph is discrete because you cannot join the points, this is you cannot put a non integer number of pages. So the graph will consist on a set of separated points. This is what discrete means. The points follow a tendency but you can not join them with a line, because there is not such thing as a fraction of page, or √2 pages.
