2.What economic and social factors in the United States led to differing ideas about slavery in the North and the South? Explain and support your answer with details.
Northern States, dependent on merchants and trading posts, had no need for slaves, seeing that they were well equipped with machinery and factory job, and needed skilled, trained labor.. Money making was easier, and they had the idea that they could bring these jobs to the South. But the South, which relied heavily on agriculture, and needed a lot of manpower to keep it running. But, unlike the more Puritan North, they decided to rely on slaves, refusing to pay them.So when the North became aware of this, it created upset, and unrest.

1. The United States Constitution was founded by an array of major principles, some of these principles are:
- Separation of Powers
- Popular Sovereignty
- Limited Government
- Federalism
We see these principles everyday, whether its when were voting for how much we should pay for taxes (Limited Government), learning about the different States of the Union (Federalism), understanding what the executive, legislative and judicial branch do (Separation of powers) or promoting the idea of democracy in our everyday life (Popular sovereignty).
These principles are what the government has to take note of and base their every decision for this how the Constitution stipulated it to be.
2. The North had soil and climate that was perfect for small farmsteads. The industrial also contributed to the abundant urbanization and progress in the north. As a result of this, slavery had mostly been replaced in the cities and factories by immigrants coming from Europe, coupled with a large and efficient way of transportation system, the northern economy progress much more than its southern counterpart.
The south had vasts amounts of fertile soil and a warm climate to go with which made it ideal for large-scale farms sowing crops like cotton. This factors made agriculture in the south prevalent and profitable and many of them saw no need for industrial development. Thus, many of the regions in the south didn't' see  rise in industrialization since most of their work was rural and could be handled by slaves.
