One key achievement of medicine today is that there is enrichment in the quality of life of the people and the lives of the people are prolonged.

• It should be noted that the advancement in technology has led to more cases whereby doctors can cure many diseases and therefore help in saving the life of people.

• Applying the knowledge of science is crucial in medicine. In the golden age of Islam, the medieval Islam helped in producing some medical thinkers that helped shape medicine in today's world. They built hospitals, and also helped in advancing surgery.

In conclusion, through medicine, there is improvement in the health of the people.
