let us take width be x

length = 7 + 5x

width = x

so let us put these value

2 (length + width) = 218

2 (7 + 5x + x ) = 218

2 (7 + 6x ) = 218

14 + 12x = 218

12x = 218 -14

12x = 204

x = 204/12

x = 17

Width = x

         = 17

Length = 7 + 5x

            = 7 + 5(17)

            = 7 + 85

            = 92
