When jump-starting a car, always remember
A) Positive to positive, negative to ground
B) O Negative to positive, positive to ground
CIO Positive to negative, negative to ground
D) O Ground to positive, negative to positive
First connection should be positive (Red) on the running vehicle then positive on the stalled vehicle. Followed by the ground (Black) on the starting vehicle then to a good ground (any exposed bare metal) on the stalled vehicle. Try to avoid making the last connection (Ground) directly to stalled vehicle when applicable.
