[tex]\boxed{\underline{\bf \: ANSWER}}[/tex]

[tex] \sf\frac { 3 + p } { 2 } = 6 \\ [/tex]

Multiply both sides by 2.

[tex] \sf \: 3+p=6\times 2 [/tex]

Multiply 6 and 2 to get 12.

[tex] \sf \: 3+p=12 [/tex]

Subtract 3 from both sides.

[tex] \sf \: p=12-3 [/tex]

Subtract 3 from 12 to get 9.

[tex] \boxed{\bf \: p=9} [/tex]

____

Hope it helps.
