Turning trash into treasure generally means taking things that have been thrown away and then recycling or reusing them in a different way thereby reducing the amount of trash in circulation.
One example of turning trash to treasure that I have seen is using shipping pallets to make furniture.
Pallets can be placed on top of each other to make:
- Chairs
- Tables
- Cabinets and,
- Decorations
The wood in the pallets can also be removed and used to make other designs of furniture.
At shipping yards, there are many pallets and when they are not being discarded, they are sold for really cheap amounts so people can take advantage of this.
In conclusion, shipping pallets may be trash to some people but can be reused to make really nice furniture.
