We should not be building roads in the rain forest. Some reasons behind this include trees produce oxygen, animals leaving their natural habitat would not survive, and it would only increase pollution. Research states that if pollution increases any more, the Ozone protecting us will deteriorate. Other research states that if animals lose their natural habitat and have to adapt to a new environment, they are not very likely to survive. And not surviving means that the food chain will break, affecting everything above it, and that could also include us. This concludes why we should not build roads in rain forests.

It's a moisture dependent vegetation.

Why no roads?

To build a road a vast area full of vegetation will be cut down.
This will adversely affect the climate and habitats of organisms living there.
This will also result in scarcity of rainfall.
This results in interference of humans on the habitat of that area.

Hence, building of road should be avoided in rainforests.
