pls give me brainliest

Step-by-step explanation:

A compound event is an event where there are more than 1 type of possibilities. for example, a non compound event like tossing a coin, has only 2 outcomes, either heads or tails, this is one possibility, but while tossing a die, there are various possibilities, like p(getting 1), p(getting even number), p(getting prime number), etc. this is known as a compound event.

a sample space is is where all outcomes of an event is enlisted, for example in tossing a die, sample space is {1,2,3,4,5,6}. and sample space for tossing a coin, {H,T}. Note : if 2 dices are tossed, the number of possibilities or 6^2, because there are 6 possibilities in one die and it will be 6^2 if there are 2.

a tree diagram helps in easily writing down the outcomes easily, here is an example.
