A natural disaster affected my town and we ran out of power for 4 days. I experienced a derecho between 2012 or 2011. I was asleep upstairs when it happened. I remember waking up in the basement then my mom telling me what was happening. My family did have an action plan. BUt they tried to get everyone in the basement and stay there until the storm is over.

I and my (parent) got into a small argument over my dirty room. My (parent) said in order for me to get dessert later that night that I had to have a very clean room. I did not listen at first as I did not feel like cleaning it so I ignored my (parent). I eventually did pick up my room before dinner that night. Things I could have done to improve the conflict was to just listen to my (parent).
