By "hidden hands" I mean people or owners who have a particular agenda o personal interests who support the corporate world interests or the interests of political parties.

How might that help you better critically read a news source?

If the news media company reveals who is behind its ideology, we -the readers or the audience- would understand if the way they report the news is biased or tries to manipulate the audience to favor a specific political ideology, candidate, or economic interest.
