The hate you give was an accurate representation of the world we live in. In the movie the character by the name of Khalil is a murderer but the police because the police thought he had a gun, in reality, he had a brush. This wouldn't happen to a white man so we know it's about the fact that he's a black man so he has already been deemed “threatening”. The case was taken to court where he ended up getting no justice. It reminds me of the Trayvon Martin case where he got murdered by police because the police thought he had a weapon but in reality, it was skittles. He lost his life over skittles.
