How can you add the fractions 3/10 and 2/5? explain

First you need to get a common denominator. Which is going to be 10. what you do to the bottom you must do to the top so 2x2 and 5x2 gives you the fraction 4/10 then you add 3/10+4/10which gives you 7/10 as your answer
