the difference of 9 and the quotient of a number x and 4 is 65

Was this the problem --> 

9 - x/4 = 65      x = -224

Or maybe  

 9 - 4/x = 65    x = -1/14

But i think they were asking for the first one i wanted to be sure. Do you need the work?
