draw and trace your kite on a piece of paper or plastic bag
laid on a flat surface.

cut along the edges with a pair of
scissors and open it to reveal a diamond-shaped
kite.

build your kite's structure by laying the stick in
the center of the kite vertically, affix it with a tape. Take the
second stick, lay it from the left to right corners so it forms a
T and tape it as before.
attach your line by tying the thread to both ends of each
stick. Tie the other end of the line to a small wooden block or piece of
board that you can hold with both hands.

using the remaining paper or plastic, make a tail about
twice the length of your kite and attach it to your kite using a tape.
