What are the x- and y- intercepts for the line y−3=3(x+5)

The y intercept is found when you substitute a zero for x. y-3=3(0+5) would find the y intercept. when you solve that you find that the y intercept is 18. The x intercept is the other way around, and when you do it, you find out that the x intercept is -6.
