The mass of a moving object increases, but its speed stays the same. What happens to the kinetic energy of the object as a result?

Kinetic energy is equal to 1/2 mv^2
KE=(1/2)(mv^2)
So if the mass increases and everything else stays the same, then the kinetic energy also increases.
