1) Slavery : Southern states wanted representation for slaves for more votes.
Representation : small states wanted equal representation as big states.
Congress : How much power congress can have.
2 -National Government could not end the slave trade till 1801. (this made the south happy)
-3/5ths compromise : enstablished how many votes the southern states could get in the house.
-The Great Compromise : Enstablished a Bicameral legislature (two house congress) Ever State Gets two senaters and house will be decided by population
3) Set up the congress we have today. Made it so they have power. Let states have equal representation.
