i need help with elimination method also the check. the equation is 3x-2y=-5 and -6x+7y=22. show work.

3x - 2y = -5 .....multiply by 2
-6x + 7y = 22

6x - 4y = -10 (result of multiplying by 2)
-6x + 7y = 22

3y = 12
y = 12/3
y = 4

3x - 2y = -5
3x - 2(4) = -5
3x - 8 = -5
3x = -5 + 8
3x = 3
x = 3/3
x = 1

solution is (1,4)
