As the occurrence of the groundwater is underground under the water table that is formed by the cracks and spaces in the soil ad the rocks, slowly this water moves its geologic form and thus is collected as an aquifer.
It can be stored in spaces and between the rock particles due to the action of the gravity, and eventually sweeps into lakes streams and the oceans. It can be in the form of soil moisture, can be in the form of natural springs, or maybe hoarded on the roots of the plants and trees.
