Ok So The Distance of A Large Body of Water Will Help Keep it cooler in different land areas because of the cooler air dome around the large body of water just pretty much sits over that area day and night all the time. So It could be lets say 85 degrees in a town nearby, but It would be like 65 Degrees There and The Nights Would be Chilly Too In That Land Area So I Hope This Answer Helped u!! :-)
