This problem doesn’t make sense. If you only have 18 t-shirts then how is it possible to have 23 of them in the laundry. It just doesn’t make sense. If it was the other way around, with 23 t-shirts and 18 of them in the laundry, then the answer would be 5. You can’t have a negative amount of something unless it’s money or you are owing someone something. I guess if you thought about it really hard, the answer would be -5 to the original answer
