Endangered languages are usually spoken by minority communities. Some examples would be; tribal languages of Papua New Guinea, Alpine Provençal from Italy, and Basque from Spain. These endangered languages matters because it is important to keep the culture and authenticity of a language alive to be able to pass on through generations and understand the history of a culture.
