What is unique about the opening of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn? Huck does not explain who Aunt Polly is right away. The author, Mark Twain, writes about himself as if he is another character in the story. Huck Finn refers to other characters in the story right away. Tom Sawyer seems to be a more important character than Huck, even though the book is about Huck.

I think that the answer is he refers to other character's right away because he doesn't talk much about himself and sees himself as an observer
