Im from that church myself so basically its not what formed the church it was who and it would be Joseph Smith He formed the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and faced discrimination. but what I can assure you that Christians didn't accept the church itself and had been treated in a unfair way and had to go trough a lot of obstacles because he or they were Mormons .
