How do you calculate the Hypotenuse?

Formula:
a^2+b^2=c^2
c^2: Is the hypotenuse.
For a^2 and b^2, you have to multiply both it by its self.
Then, add both.
Next, you square root it.
Example:
a^2+b^2=c^2
14^2+7^2=c^2
196+49=c^2
245=c^2
15.64=c^2
