In a patient's progress notes, what would a physician record as a subjective observation?
O A. Patient has a laceration above the right eyebrow.
B. Patient complains of feeling dizzy.
OC. Patient has a laceration on the left hand.
O D. Patient's skin was cold and clammy.

Respuesta :

A subjective observation is something your doctor uses to help record data that they cannot get using their own senses. So in this instance it would have to be some thing that they could not see, touch, smell, feel, or taste. I think B would be the correct answer because the patient is telling the doctor how they feel. The doctor cannot feel how the patient is feeling, hence not using their own senses.
