academic career. Grit would help Jim earn better grades in his class as he can use it to help study
harder and persevere through excessive strenuous tasks like studying or taking a lot of practice.

him have a sense of achievement motivation. Achievement motivation is when someone has a
strong desire for significant accomplishment like for example, mastering things for people, ideas,
