Under Han’s rule the system of being chosen through a process of a competitive test rather than based of your family and connections came about. This system was much better because it allowed more people to have a chance, although this does not mean the system was perfect, really only the wealthy participated because they were the only ones who could afford an education. In general the overall idea of the system was good but when it comes down to it the system still wasn’t great because it allowed very little diversity in the the nominees.
