However, this ability to transport ocean currents also acts in the transport of nutrients and food for living beings that live on the seabed and do not move, but live in a fixed place. They also transport the reproductive cells of these beings to other places in the ocean, being important in the reproduction of marine life. If the speed of ocean currents decreases, the feeding and reproduction of some marine life organisms will be impaired.
