A village water tank contained some water. The villagers used 10300 litre of the water in the day. A pump supplied 12,700 of the water in the tank. There was 16500 litre of water left in the tank in the end. How much water was there in the tank at first?
the amount of water that was left is 16500, so substract it to the added amount of water which is 12700, then add 10300 which is the amount of water that the village consumed. 16500-12700=3800+10300=13830
