Using with PEMDAS: First, using with parentheses, you do 6-2= 4. Now the problem should be 9+5×(-3)-4÷4. Then, exponents, but in this problem, there are no exponents so we can skip that. Now, M (Multiplying), if you see a multiplication problem, just do it. 5×(-3)= -15. If the two signs are the same, then the answer will be a positive. But the two factors are different so they have to be negative. 9+(-15)-4÷4, should be the problem. Now, D (Division), you get 4÷4= 1. The problem should be 9+(-15)-1. This should be A, or Addition. 9+(-15)= -6. So, (-6)-1. The last one is subtraction so get (-6)-1 equals -5. The answer should be a -5.
(Remember, if you see several multiplication problems, do it from left to right. This goes for all of the PEMDAS strategy.)
