The answer is  doppler effect, moving away. Due to the Doppler shift effect, galaxies or cosmological objects producing or reflecting light, that are moving towards the earth appear blue while that that are moving away from the earth appear red in color. This is similar to the ambulance is coming towards you with its siren on, the sounds seem of a higher pitch but as it moves past you and away from you, the pitch of the sound is lower.
